Filipino Beef Marrow Stew (Bulalo)
This is a dish from Philippine Cuisine and yes I am a Filipino but the thing is I don’t know how to cook this delicious, mouth-watering, super mega mind blowing, heart blowing, plaque forming, … ok enough.
Well I know that some of you doesn’t have the chance to savour this particular dish but if you do, please don’t waste the opportunity. I highly recommend this food. Yes and this is one of my favorite foods. Just by looking at the photo above, Im starting to feel hungry. You know this sensation right?
Here’s a tip: While eating bulalo, it is best to have a dipping sauce. Your dipping sauce should be made of Patis (fish sauce) and Calamansi (Citrofortunella microcarpa). The ratio of Patis to calamansi should be 2:1. One more thing, after eating this, drink a hot tea or hot water. You don’t want to stay those Sebo or grease in your arteries and this could lead to serious problem like Atherosclerosis (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atherosclerosis).
